Sorry to the advertising groups

Published by Barbara Jones under Uncategorized

I had to take the sound off your adverts as it was all happening at once on the website and it was driving me potty. If I buy something from every company, am I forgiven?

School is open as normal

Published by Mrs T under Uncategorized, news

School will be open as normal today.

We are still asking parents NOT to drive on Birks Fold please. It is a bad road at the best of times and with the ice, it is even worse.

Please help us protect our children’s safety.

School will be open from 10 a.m.

Published by Mrs T under Uncategorized, events

School will be open from 10 o’clock this morning, to give people a chance to make their journeys in safely.

If you need to go to work, you will be able to drop your child off from 8.30 but as we will only have a few staff at that time, please only drop them off if you really need to.

PLEASE do not drive on to Birks Fold. It is very icy and children will be crossing the road at various points. Safety has to be our number 1 concern.

Check in the morning

Published by Barbara Jones under Uncategorized

To everyone who has been asking via the blog and email as to whether school is open in the morning – Thursday. The answer is CHECK IN THE MORNING (and yes I was shouting, just in case somebody couldn’t hear)
Mr Pope won’t make the decision about whether to open school or not until he knows what the situation is, so check on the website in the morning. AND if you have not given your mobile phone number into school for text message alerts, do it as soon as school reopens.

School is closed

School is closed today

The roads and paths around school are snowed over and very icy underneath so Mr Pope has decided to close the school for Health and Safety reasons. Please take care if you do have to go out. We will put a message here again tomorrow to let you know if we are open or you can subscribe to text message alerts below.
