Scouts, Cubs and Beavers

Published by Barbara Jones at 10:17 am under information

We had a visit from our local cub leaders who told us all about scouting.
This is the powerpoint they didn’t have time to share with us.
They have also said they will answer any of your questions. So if there is something you did not get chance to ask, just post a comment and we will try to get them answered.

What kinds of games do you play?

Do you ever go horse riding?

We play many games, both inside and outside. When we are camping or away on a Pack Holiday, we play mostly what we call Wide Games. These games can involve nature or some other theme. Both boys and girls enjoy running around the woods finding things or trying to catch members of the other team.

Horse riding is not part of our usual activities, but there are opportunities to do this sometimes when we meet with other cubs at County events.
