Which of the songs do you like best?

We are responsible for the blogs for Mexico, Uruguay and Slovakia.
The children will be writing match reports, player profiles and information about the countries
Check out their work when it starts to happen on www.blogtheworldcup.net

Have a look at all of our blogs and the others too and see if you can add anything to them.

Published by Barbara Jones under events, news

At Lidget Green we are doing our bit for a safer internet, not just on Safer Internet Day, but everyday. But to mark Safer Internet Day we had assemblies and Year 6 made Glogs (check them out) to get the message across but tomorrow February 10th is the Parents chance to logon and learn.
Come along to the Parents Info session at 3.30 to find out.

School is open as normal

Published by Mrs T under Uncategorized, news

School will be open as normal today.

We are still asking parents NOT to drive on Birks Fold please. It is a bad road at the best of times and with the ice, it is even worse.

Please help us protect our children’s safety.

School will be open from 10 a.m.

Published by Mrs T under Uncategorized, events

School will be open from 10 o’clock this morning, to give people a chance to make their journeys in safely.

If you need to go to work, you will be able to drop your child off from 8.30 but as we will only have a few staff at that time, please only drop them off if you really need to.

PLEASE do not drive on to Birks Fold. It is very icy and children will be crossing the road at various points. Safety has to be our number 1 concern.

School is closed today

The roads and paths around school are snowed over and very icy underneath so Mr Pope has decided to close the school for Health and Safety reasons. Please take care if you do have to go out. We will put a message here again tomorrow to let you know if we are open or you can subscribe to text message alerts below.

If you want to know more about E-Safety, why not check out our E-Safety blog and keep an eye for our Internet Safety leaflet which has just arrived back from the printers and should be given to all our families very soon.

On the buses!

Published by Barbara Jones under events, news

Lidget Green year 6 pupils had a special training session to get them ready for the change to Secondary school when they will probably be travelling by bus. Apart from learning how to plan journeys and keep safe, they also did an environmental quiz on bus travel, when some of them learnt that it is not always a good idea to pick the silly answer ;-)
