We received 162 pieces of homework  this  time, which was even more than last! This means that over half of KS2 completed the challenge and gained rewards. One winner was picked for each class and they will be receiving a special reward!  There was also a special prize given to the class who had brought back the highest amount of homework. All the choir got to wear a Young Voices t-shirt and had a small torch to shine during the songs.  With over 15,000 people in the arena it was a great atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the African Children’s Choir couldn’t attend, so the organisers asked teachers if they wanted to be part of a teachers’ choir.  Miss Bennett decided this was too good an opportunity to miss.   So she, along with 14 other teachers from the region, got to sing on stage.  She said, “I felt like a pop star.  It was amazing.”

So that the children and teachers in school do not miss out, the choir will soon be performing all the hits for everyone at Lidget Green to enjoy!
