Although we are a Co-operative Trust School, we follow the Local Authorities admissions policy for Community Schools; the Local Authority Admissions Team process all admissions to the main school and also the appeals procedure for these admissions. We currently have a Published Admissions Number of 90 in Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3, which means we can admit up to 90 children in these year groups; our Published Admissions Number for Year 4 to Year 6 is 75.
Advice and guidance is offered by the Local Authority Admissions Team to parents and other agencies regarding the availability of school places, and all other admission and appeal related enquiries.
The Team also provide advice and guidance concerning current and new legislation relating to admissions and ensures that statutory responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the schools admission and appeal codes.

Admissions to the Nursery are processed by the school according to the Nursery waiting list. Names on the waiting list are held in date of birth order. The Nursery offers 80 part time places (40 morning and 40 afternoon) to children who have had their 3rd birthday. Please call at the Main Office to put your child’s name on the waiting list or use the link on the Contact us page.
Families in receipt of certain benefits may be entitled to 15 hours free early education and childcare for their two-year-old child. Our ‘Little Bears’ two-year-old room offers 14 morning and 14 afternoon places. Please ask at the Main Office if you think you might be eligible for this offer.
